This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for Gloria Themes products and services purchased directly from gloriathemes.com.
1. Digital Product Notice
Gloria Themes sells digital products, including WordPress themes, templates, software files, documentation, demo content, updates, and related digital assets.
Because our products are digital and downloadable, they cannot be physically returned.
By purchasing a product from gloriathemes.com, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to a digital product and a license to use that product under the applicable license terms.
2. General Refund Principle
Refunds are not automatically granted.
A refund may be considered only when there is a valid technical or purchase-related reason under this Refund Policy.
If the product is working as described, can be downloaded, can be installed in a compatible environment, and does not contain a major unresolved product-related defect, the purchase is generally not eligible for a refund.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests may be considered if:
- The product has a major technical issue that prevents normal use
- The issue is caused by the product itself
- The issue can be reproduced in a compatible WordPress, PHP, server, and plugin environment
- We are unable to resolve the issue after you provide reasonable cooperation
- The product does not include a core feature clearly stated in the product description
- You were charged more than once for the same product by mistake
- An order was placed accidentally and the product has not been downloaded, accessed, activated, or used
Refund requests must be submitted within [14/30] days of purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law.
4. Hosting, Server, and Environment Issues
Refunds will not be provided for issues caused by the customer’s hosting provider, server configuration, WordPress environment, PHP settings, database limits, file permissions, security rules, caching systems, CDN, firewall, memory limits, max execution time, upload limits, or similar technical environment limitations.
Examples of non-refundable environment-related issues include but are not limited to:
- Demo import failure caused by low server limits
- Timeout errors caused by hosting restrictions
- Upload size limitations
- PHP memory limit issues
- File permission issues
- Server security restrictions
- Plugin conflicts not caused by the product itself
- Outdated WordPress, PHP, WooCommerce, or plugin versions
- Problems caused by cache, CDN, firewall, or security plugins
In such cases, we may provide guidance, documentation, recommendations, or support to help you resolve the issue, but the issue itself will not automatically make the purchase eligible for a refund.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be provided if:
- The product works as described
- You changed your mind after purchase
- You purchased the wrong product
- You no longer need the product
- You do not have sufficient WordPress knowledge
- Your hosting environment does not meet the product requirements
- The issue is caused by hosting, server settings, PHP configuration, file permissions, security rules, cache, CDN, or similar environment limitations
- The issue is caused by third-party plugins, custom code, user modifications, malware, or external services
- You expected custom development, design customization, content entry, SEO, speed optimization, migration, WooCommerce setup, or installation services that were not included in the product
- You failed to read the product description, documentation, requirements, compatibility notes, or license terms
- You request a refund because the product is also available at a different price on ThemeForest/Envato or another platform
- You purchased the product from ThemeForest/Envato and are requesting a refund through gloriathemes.com
- You used, downloaded, activated, copied, or installed the product and the product does not have a major unresolved product-related defect
6. Support Before Refund
Before approving a refund, we may ask you to allow us to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
You may be asked to provide:
- Website URL
- Screenshots
- Error messages
- System status information
- WordPress admin access
- FTP/SFTP access
- Hosting/server information
- Steps to reproduce the issue
Failure to provide reasonable cooperation or required information may result in the refund request being rejected.
7. Marketplace Purchases
If you purchased a Gloria Themes product through ThemeForest/Envato, your refund request must be submitted through Envato and is subject to Envato’s refund policies and procedures.
We cannot directly process refunds, cancellations, or payment adjustments for purchases completed through ThemeForest/Envato unless the marketplace system allows us to do so.
8. Price Differences
Prices may vary between gloriathemes.com and third-party marketplaces.
We do not provide refunds, credits, partial refunds, compensation, or price adjustments for price differences, discounts, promotions, currency changes, taxes, marketplace fees, commissions, or exchange rate differences.
9. Hire Us / Custom Service Refunds
Hire Us services offered on gloriathemes.com, including but not limited to installation, setup, design customization, WordPress development, WooCommerce customization, migration assistance, content entry, speed optimization, or other custom services, are separate from standard digital product purchases.
Refund eligibility for Hire Us services depends on the agreed scope, work completed, time spent, resources allocated, communication, planning, and project stage.
Once custom work has started, payments may be non-refundable in whole or in part.
If a Hire Us service is canceled by the customer after work has started, Gloria Themes may deduct the value of completed work, planning, communication, development, design, setup, research, testing, or other time spent before considering any partial refund.
Completed Hire Us services are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a Hire Us service cannot be completed due to missing customer information, delayed feedback, lack of required access, third-party service limitations, hosting restrictions, unsupported plugins, or customer-side changes, this does not automatically make the service eligible for a refund.
10. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a purchase made on gloriathemes.com, contact us at [info@gloriathemes.com] with:
- Order number
- Account email address
- Product name
- Description of the issue
- Screenshots or error details if applicable
- Temporary WordPress admin access if needed for troubleshooting
For Hire Us service refund requests, you may also need to provide the project reference, agreed scope, related communication, and reason for cancellation or refund request.
We may request additional information before approving or rejecting a refund request.
11. Refund Review and Decision
All refund requests are reviewed manually.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
We reserve the right to approve, reject, or partially approve a refund request based on this Refund Policy, the product status, the technical findings, the customer’s cooperation, the agreed service scope, project status, and purchase details.
12. Processing Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method where possible.
Approved refunds may take up to 30 business days to be processed. Additional time may be required by the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or payment method.
Gloria Themes is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or third-party financial institutions.
13. License and Access After Refund
If a refund is issued for a digital product, your license, downloads, updates, and support access may be disabled.
You must stop using the refunded product and delete all copies from your websites, devices, servers, backups, and storage locations.
Continued use of a refunded product is not permitted.
