Every campaign you create in GiveWP automatically includes its own Campaign Page — a dedicated landing page that displays your campaign content, donation form, and progress.
Using the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg), you can fully customize this page to match your organization’s tone, style, and design.
The Faun WordPress Theme applies its typography and colors automatically, ensuring the page fits seamlessly into your site.
Access the Campaign Page #
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to GiveWP → Campaigns.
- Hover over the campaign you want to edit.
- Click Edit Campaign Page to open it in the Block Editor.
The Campaign Page functions like a standard WordPress page but includes GiveWP-specific blocks that display donation content dynamically.
Understand the Default Layout #
When a new campaign is created, the default Campaign Page includes several key elements:
- Campaign Title
- Cover Image
- Campaign Description
- Goal Progress Bar
- Donation Form
- Recent Donations (optional block)
This layout provides a complete donation experience out of the box, but you can modify, rearrange, or remove any section as needed.
Add or Remove Blocks #
The Block Editor allows full flexibility in designing your campaign page.
To add a block:
- Click the + button inside the editor.
- Search for “GiveWP” to view available donation-related blocks.
- Insert blocks such as:
- GiveWP Form Block – embeds your donation form.
- GiveWP Goal Block – displays progress toward your goal.
- GiveWP Campaign Info Block – shows campaign title and details.
- GiveWP Recent Donations Block – lists latest donations.
To remove a block:
Select the block, click the three-dot menu, and choose Remove Block.
You can also use standard WordPress blocks (Headings, Paragraphs, Images, Columns, Buttons, Videos, etc.) to add storytelling, visuals, and calls to action.
Customize Design and Layout #
The Faun theme automatically styles your Campaign Page to match the rest of your site, but you can fine-tune the design using built-in editor options.
- Adjust spacing, alignment, or background color per block.
- Use Columns or Group blocks to create visual structure.
- Add custom images or icons to strengthen emotional appeal.
- Highlight your donation form by placing it near the top of the page.
For more advanced adjustments, Faun’s Theme Options → Donations panel lets you modify button styles, colors, and typography globally.
Preview and Publish #
- Click Preview → Preview in New Tab to see your live layout.
- When satisfied, click Update or Publish.
- Your campaign page URL appears under the campaign’s details screen — you can use this link in menus, buttons, or homepage sections.
Using Shortcodes Instead of Blocks #
If you prefer manual placement, you can still embed elements using GiveWP shortcodes.
For example:
[give_form id="FORM_ID"]
[give_goal id="CAMPAIGN_ID"]
[give_receipt]
Shortcodes work inside Paragraph or Shortcode blocks and are fully compatible with Faun’s styling.
Best Practices for Campaign Pages #
- Lead with a clear, emotional headline that describes your cause.
- Keep the donation form visible without requiring extra scrolling.
- Add social proof — testimonials, photos, or impact statistics.
- Use clear calls-to-action such as “Donate Now” or “Join Our Mission.”
- Maintain consistent color contrast for accessibility.
A well-designed campaign page can significantly improve conversion rates and donor trust.
