By providing the IMDb link, you can automatically fetch the IMDb ratings of the titles through the API. This system works with WordPress Cron and all title ratings are checked and updated once a day. In this way, there is no continuous data flow and your server does not get tired.
Step 1 – Open the omdbapi.com website.
Step 2 – Navigate to the ‘Api Key’ page from the website’s menu.
Step 3 – Generate an API key in this page. It’s free. API key will be sent to your email address.
Step 4 – Copy the generated API key from your email inbox.
Step 5 – Login to your WordPress admin panel.
Step 6 – Navigate to the Appearance > Customize.
Step 7 – Open the Titles > IMDb Integration pane.
Step 8 – Paste the API key into the ‘omdbapi.com API Key’ field.
