You can install a WordPress theme downloaded from ThemeForest with two different methods. I will explain all methods. Firstly you should check your hosting features. If your hosting isn’t enough, you can contact to your hosting company. Click for ideal hosting features. Next, download your theme files from ThemeForest. If you can’t know how to download a WordPress theme from ThemeForest, you can look How to Download a Theme from ThemeForest? article. Extract the files downloaded from ThemeForest. Don’t upload main file. You should upload main theme file.
Installation a WordPress Theme via WordPress Admin Panel
Login to your WordPress admin panel. Next, go to Appearance > Themes from WordPress admin panel menu.
Click on the Add New button from the header of the page.
Click on the Upload Theme button from the header of the page.
You can choose ZIP file of the theme from this page. Select the file and click Install Now button. Be careful with choose the file. Be careful with the file you choose. You can direct choose ZIP file downloaded from WordPress.org but you should choose ZIP file of the theme after extract the files downloaded from ThemeForest. Example for a downloaded theme from ThemeForest:
You will see a success message like from following screenshot after upload the theme. Click on the Activate button.
Themes can come with customization options, widgets and plugins. If you see a plugin install notice, you should install the plugins for get all features or options. Notices and menus change by the theme. If you use a theme of Gloria Themes, you will see a notice like from following screenshot. Click on the Begin Installing Plugin button.
Choose all plugins with top checkbox. If you want, you can install some plugins. This is optional.
Choose the Install option from Bulk Actions dropdown and click on the Apply button.
Click on the Return to Required Plugins Installer button from bottom of the page after install the plugins.

Choose the Activate option from Bulk Actions dropdown and click on the Apply button.
A theme installation process finished. You can customize the WordPress theme from theme customize panel. Location of theme options panel change by the theme but it usually exist on main admin menu. Usually you can find customize options of the theme from Appearance > Customize page. If you can’t see customize options from that menu, you can go to Theme Options (Theme Settings) page from admin panel menu. Installation a WordPress Theme via FTP
This is method usually don’t use by customer but if you want you can use this method. Firstly login to your FTP server. Next, go to wp-content/themes directory. Extract the files downloaded from ThemeForest. Don’t upload main file. You should upload theme file. Find the theme file in extracted ZIP file. Example:
Choose theme-name folder (Not ZIP file, if this folder isn’t exist, you can extracted.) As note, you can see php files, css files etc in theme-name folder. Upload the theme-name folder to wp-content/themes directory in your FTP server. Login to your WordPress admin panel after upload the files to FTP server. Next, go to Appearance > Themes from WordPress admin panel menu. Click on the Activate button on the theme.
