< 1 min read

Step 1 – Navigate to Pages > All Pages from the WordPress dashboard.

Step 2 – Click on the page you want to edit. Alternatively, you can create a new page instead.

Step 3 – In the Elementor page editor, you will see the available elements in the left menu. If this menu isn’t visible, switch to the page builder editor mode.

Step 4 – Use the search form to find the ‘Advanced Content Search’ or ‘Simple Post Search’ element. Drag and drop your chosen search element onto the page, and it will be added to your layout.

Step 5 – Once the element is added, you can begin customizing it:

The Simple Post Search element is ideal for everyday users. It can be configured to perform targeted searches, such as searching only within wiki contents, or to include specific post types if needed.

The Advanced Content Search module, you can create more complex searches. This includes adding taxonomy filters, adjusting design spaces, and setting up advanced search queries additionaly to post types. For example, you can allow searches across multiple categories, tags, or custom fields.
