Step 1 – Navigate to the Wiki Contents > Add New Wiki Content from the WordPress dashboard.
Step 2 – You will see a standard WordPress editor and post creation screen.
Step 3 – You can add a title and description to the Content. The expected controls for saving it as a draft or publishing it are present.
Step 4 – Now scroll a little to the bottom of the page and you will see the Wiki Content Details section. This area contains the wiki content details and the wiki content management controllers. Now click to Content Table section.
Step 5 – The visibility of the content table can be set in the first section. The style can be adjusted using the Content Table Style option, and the table’s position can be defined through the Position of Content Table section.
Step 6 – At the bottom of the page, the Content Table section allows adding as many items as needed. Simply click the Add More button to include new entries.
Step 7 – Clicking on an added item opens fields for customization:
- Title: Add the item’s title.
- Description: Provide a description.
- Inline: Configure the placement of the content.
- Padding and Margin: To adjust spacing of the content this area can be used.
The Type selection is crucial here, offering various options:
- Simple Text: For plain text without additional fields.
- Image: Creates a field to upload a single image.
- Image Gallery: Allows adding multiple images.
- Image Slider: Enables adding multiple images as a slider.
- Video: Offers options for file upload or embedding a video link.
- Audio: Provides fields to upload audio or embed an audio link.
- Link: Includes:
- Link URL: Add the link.
- Link Text: Specify the text to display for the link.
- Link Target: Define if the link opens in the same tab (Self) or a new tab (Blank).
- Code: Allows adding a block of code.
Step 8 – Now that everything is ready, you can press the ‘Publish’ button to publish your Wiki Content.
