You can manage the Footer Custom Section settings from:
Appearance → Customize → Footer → Custom
Content Type #
You can choose how the custom section content will be displayed:
- Text Content – Use the textarea editor to add custom text, HTML, or shortcodes.
- Elementor Template – Select a saved Elementor template to display in this section.
Depending on the selected type:
- If Text Content is selected, you can enter content directly using the editor.
- If Elementor Template is selected, you can choose a template from your saved Elementor templates.
What is an Elementor Template? #
An Elementor Template is a reusable design created using the Elementor page builder. You can use it to build custom layouts such as banners, grids, promotional sections, or complex content blocks.
To create or manage templates, go to:
WP Admin → Templates → Saved Templates
Click Add New, design your layout with Elementor, and save it. Once saved, it will be available for selection in the Custom Section.
Footer Section Order #
To control where the custom section appears in the footer, go to:
Appearance → Customize → Footer → Footer General
Inside the Footer Sections area, you can reorder different footer blocks such as:
- Newsletter
- Contact
- Icon Boxes
- Widgets
- Social
- Copyright
- Custom Section
You can drag and drop these sections to define their order in the footer layout.
Tip: Use the custom section to add promotional banners, custom HTML blocks, or fully designed Elementor layouts.
