How to Configure the Categories Drawer

The Categories Drawer is a clickable menu icon in the header that opens an off-canvas panel displaying your category menu.

You can configure its main settings from:

Appearance → Customize → Header → Categories Drawer

Available Settings #

  • Title – The heading displayed at the top of the drawer.
  • Menu – Enable or disable the menu.
  • Copyright Text – Footer text shown at the bottom of the drawer.

To display menu items inside the drawer, you need to assign a menu to the following location:

Appearance → Menus → Categories Drawer Menu

Enable in Header #

After configuring the drawer, you need to enable it in the header settings:

Appearance → Customize → Header → Header General

  • Categories Drawer – Enable or disable the drawer icon.
  • Categories Drawer Label – Optional text displayed next to the icon.

Note: If no menu is assigned to the Categories Drawer Menu location, the drawer will appear empty.
