How to Configure the Wishlist Feature

The Wishlist feature allows users to save products for later and access them easily from the header or dedicated pages.

Wishlist page

Enable Wishlist in Header #

To display the Wishlist icon in the header, go to:

Appearance → Customize → Header → Header General

  • Wishlist – Enable this option to show the Wishlist icon.

Then configure its header settings from:

Appearance → Customize → Header → Wishlist

  • Wishlist Style – Classic, Icon, Text
  • Wishlist Count – Show or hide item count

Wishlist General Settings #

You can manage the main Wishlist functionality from:

Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Wishlist

  • Guests Can Add Items – Allow or restrict guest users
  • Wishlist Page – Select the page where you placed the [gromark_wishlist] shortcode
  • Notification Type:
    • Type 1 – Bottom Corner
    • Type 2 – Popup
  • Show Thumbnail
  • Show Product Name
  • Show Price
  • Show Added Date
  • Show Stock Status
  • Show Add to Cart
  • Show Remove

Add Wishlist to Product Page #

To display the Wishlist button on single product pages, go to:

Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Action Buttons

Inside the Action Buttons field, you can enable:

  • Wishlist
  • Compare
  • Size Guide
  • Contact

Select Wishlist to display it on product pages.

Add Wishlist to Product Listings #

To display the Wishlist button on product listing (shop) pages, go to:

Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Box

  • Wishlist Button – Enable this option to show it in product cards.

Tip: Enabling Wishlist across header, product pages, and listings improves user engagement and encourages return visits.
