This quick checklist will help you set up your WooCommerce store correctly after installing the theme.
1. Complete WooCommerce Setup #
Go to:
WooCommerce → Settings
Configure the basic store settings:
- Store location
- Currency
- Product units
2. Assign Required Pages #
Go to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced
Make sure the following pages are assigned:
- Cart Page
- Checkout Page
- My Account Page
- Terms & Conditions (optional)
If these pages are missing, create them and assign accordingly.
3. Set Shop Page #
Go to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Products
- Select your Shop Page
This page will display your product listings
4. Configure Payments #
Go to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Payments
Enable and configure your preferred payment methods:
- PayPal
- Stripe
- Bank Transfer
- Cash on Delivery
5. Configure Shipping #
Go to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping
- Create Shipping Zones
- Add Shipping Methods (Free Shipping, Flat Rate, etc.)
6. Enable User Registration (Optional) #
Go to:
Settings → General
- Enable “Anyone can register” if you want users to create accounts
7. Save Permalinks #
Go to:
Settings → Permalinks
Click Save Changes once.
This prevents common issues such as 404 errors on product pages.
8. Add Products #
Go to:
Products → Add New
- Add product title, description, and images
- Set price and product type
Tip: Make sure WooCommerce pages are properly assigned and permalinks are saved to avoid common issues.
