The Search Drawer adds a search icon to the header. When clicked, it opens an off-canvas search panel for users to quickly find products or content.
You can configure its settings from:
Appearance → Customize → Header → Search Drawer
General Settings #
- Title – The heading displayed at the top of the search drawer.
- Search Form – Enable or disable the search form.
- Placeholder Text – The text displayed inside the search input field.
- Copyright Text – Footer text shown at the bottom of the drawer.
Recommended Products #
You can highlight selected products inside the search drawer.
- Recommended Products – Toggle recommended products visibility.
- Recommended Products Count – Number of products to display.
- Recommended Products Title – Section title for recommended products.
To choose which products will be shown, go to:
Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Recommended Products
Most Popular Keywords #
You can also display popular search keywords to help users quickly navigate.
- Most Popular Keywords – Toggle keyword suggestions.
- Most Popular Keywords Title – Section title.
- Most Popular Keyword List – Add keywords using repeater items.
Each keyword you add will be displayed as a clickable suggestion inside the search drawer.
Enable in Header #
After configuring these settings, you need to enable the Search feature from:
Appearance → Customize → Header → Header General
- Search Toggle – Enable this option to display the search icon in the header.
